This Great Blue Heron was intent on finding breakfast. Not flinching. Just its eyes moved.
This was my favorite captured yesterday at Quarry Trails.
In 2018 Franklin County passed a large levy to create and maintain the amazing parks in the county. Several quarries, like this one, were made into parks.
The Marble Cliff facility was once the largest contiguous quarry in the United States, providing limestone that was processed for a century and used to construct the buildings and roads of Central Ohio.
