Cincinnati’s Parks and Gardens
A couple of my favorite parks and gardens in Cincinnati. They are just a two hour drive from my home in Columbus, Ohio making for an easy day trip.
Eden Park
The jewel of the Cincinnati parks system is undoubtedly Eden Park. It was once Nicholas Longworth vineyards, and now it boasts sculptures, gardens, Mirror Lake, a gazebo, playgrounds, and tiered views of the Ohio River.
Around Krohn Conservatory
Krohn Conservatory is surrounded by Eden Park — along with the Art Museum and Playhouse in the Park. The conservatory offers 3,500 plant species from around the world and is one of the largest public greenhouses in the US. The Art Deco building was constructed in 1933.
Ault Park
Located in the Mount Lookout neighborhood of Cincinnati is Ault Park. It’s 224 acres contains nature trails, a pavilion, play fields, gardens, and lookouts over the Ohio River.
