Bald Eagles!!!

Unfortunately, I brought the worst lens that morning for this. I had NO idea that we have Bald Eagles in the area. Also, the sun was too bright, blowing out any whites. Not a cloud in the sky either. So it became a scouting expedition.

The only decent photo taken was this one. (It's not in my portfolio.) The splashes of green in the background caught my attention.

Dead Flower

There are several sections of Highbanks Metro Park in Columbus. The above was taken at the overlook of the Olentangy River, along the bluffs. (Olentangy is a Wyandot word meaning "River of Red Face Paint.")
