But a team was working on the lake and cleaning it up, so they scared off any wildlife... except these little ones:

The 1,705-acre park offers grasslands, wetlands, meadows, and forests. Attached is a living historical farm too! There's plenty to do here.

I found a quiet place along the lake with an overlook and boardwalk. In July the lily pads should start blooming. I will return!
